Star Trade is a subsidiary of HD Renewable Energy (6873), a leading smart energy group in Asia. We are focused on becoming a global provider of power services and energy asset management, supporting enterprises as they actively participate in liberalized electricity markets.
Our core expertise spans power trading, intelligent dispatch, energy and asset management, commercial structuring, and risk management, enabling us to deliver integrated, customized solutions tailored to each client’s operational and market needs.
Since obtaining our electricity retail license in 2021, Star Trade has built its business around renewable energy supply and trading and carbon management, offering services such as renewable energy procurement and supply, aggregated purchasing and wheeling solutions, and carbon asset management.To address growing enterprise demand for flexible and market-oriented energy applications, Star Trade merged with Star Energy Storage Solutions in 2025, integrating its strengths in energy storage, EMS, and AI-assisted trading. combining capabilities across energy storage systems, EMS, and AI-assisted trading. This integration supports the development of virtual power plants (VPPs) and the Star Trade power trading platform, while strengthening our international market presence and advancing a business model centered on power trading and energy aggregation.

Star Trade executed a green Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Lightsource bp (Taiwan Tien Ho Energy). Under the agreement, Star Trade will assume responsibility for the offtake and commercial delivery of renewable energy generated from Lightsource bp’s 115 MWp aquaculture-solar project in Chiayi.
